Canine Crime Scene Investigation course
4 Day Course: Thursday 8th July Sunday 12th July 2010
The first three days are spent training you and your dog to become a super sleuth. The two training days consist of team building exercises, relationship building exercises, dog training, tracking, arson detection, explosive detection (we don’t use real explosives!), drug detection (we don’t use real drugs either), fire arms detection, and almost every exercise connected to controlling and having lots of fun with your dog.
For the final day youll be working in a team of dogs and handlers and attempting to solve a heinous crime using your canine detective and your powers of observation and problem solving skills to solve the case.
**Please Note** This course is not intended for law enforcement officers as it is a fun mystery course designed to create new ideas for running dog training classes where theres a real purpose and end result to the training.
For this course you can bring your own dog or use one of the many rescue dogs at the centre. You will also need food treats, lots of toys and plenty of enthusiasm. No prior training is required.
