Kitten and orphan season is fast approaching us. This can be the busiest and most time consuming time of the year. Ranging usually from March to September. It can also be a physical and emotionally draining time. Hand rearing orphaned animals is a very rewarding task from seeing little helpless animals grow into a young healthy adult ready for rehoming or been returned to the wild but it comes with its failures. Many animals will arrive hungry, in shock or suffering from hypothermia or have neo – natal complications.
This is where time is of the essence and were we are in great need of a small animal intensive care unit. The Vetario S10 provides the ideal intensive care environment to give any young or injured small animal the best possible chance of successful recovery. The S10 provides a safe, warm and hygienic isolation chamber. It also provides additional facilities were drugs can be conveniently administered to an animal using the supplied medicine reservoir by connecting to a nebuliser. A unit will cost around €750 inc vat, delivery and exchange rates. This unit will aid us to help and save many orphaned and sick kittens, puppies, birds and wildlife each year.
We are in desperate need of getting one of these units before kitten and orphan season begins.
This is where we need your help if you think you can help us in any way please send a donation to the:
