We went to Kildare Animal Foundation with the intention of not
choosing a dog but lettin a dog choose us, when we got to the gate a
little brown an white dog was jumping at the fence as if to say yes I
pick you guys, his name was Jason an he had been in the Foundation
since he was a pup dumped in a box across the road from the
foundation, he was about 6 months old, so after the home check an
getting everything ready for the new arrival we collected him a week
after, we thought Jason didn’t suit him so we sent a picture of him to
the kids in my friends montessori class who decided his name was Rusty
Rusty is the most delightful dog that I have ever met (I’m not biased),
he is so clever an funny, he loves playing with his uncle Sam who also
came from the Foundation. I have fostered many dogs an we have takin
in many strays an Rusty has endless patience with both young an old
dogs teaching them how to play an sharing his bed and toys with them.
When my mum was in hospital we used to take Rusty up to the hospital
an all the patients would come out an just pet an rub him an he was so
gentle with the sick.
Rusty got sad sometimes when his foster brothers an sisters left so
early this year we decided to get him a sister who was rescued also as
a puppy called Boo, they re the best of pals and wont even leave the
room with out the other, which is not to comfy in bed with me my
husband an the 2 doggies
We would just like to thank all the staff in the foundation for all
the care and attention they gave our baby during his stay with you as
he was in the best of health an was very well socialised, we love our
Rusty to bits an he is just the most spoiled little fella ever, he has
brought endless hours of joy to our lives an we are so very grateful
to all you guys.
